Mt. Rose's all-mountain Freestyle Ski Training Program is for skiers ages 9-15. Our all mountain Freestyle Ski Training Program is an alternative to racing and is designed to build all mountain skiing skills. The Training Program is open to skiers who are interested in learning the fundamentals of freestyle skiing. Beginning with the basic skills, team members will receive instruction on learning correct technique in moguls, terrain park pipes and boxes, upright aerial jumping (spins, grabs, etc.- no inverts) and skiing/riding the entire mountain in all conditions. FUN is the main emphasis while at the same time gaining confidence and improving overall free-skiing technique.

Like our Team Falcons Learn to Fly Jr. Development Team and the Peregrines Development Team, the Freestyle Training Program is based upon camaraderie with teammates, on-mountain etiquette and overall a love of the sport.

Even though this is a training program and not a competition team, Freestyle skiers will be training for the types of events commonly held in freestyle competitions (rail jams, best line comps, big air). Any competition fees would be paid for by the individual.
