Learn to glide, stop, and turn on our gentle wide-open slopes served by three dedicated beginner lifts. Mt. Rose- Ski Tahoe has some of Lake Tahoe’s best beginner terrain. Combined with our dedicated staff, teaching methods, and “beginner specific” rental equipment- you’ll have a ton of fun and learn a great new sport at the same time.

Mt. Rose is committed to your safety when riding the chairlifts. We ask that you do your part when riding the chair by abiding by the following guidelines:

Always put down the safety bar when riding with children.
If your child is riding the chair with other adults, teach your child to ask others on the chair to put down the safety bar.
Remind your children to Sit Back, Sit Still, Hold On... and that horseplay is not allowed while riding a chairlift.
It is recommended that children under 48" tall ride the lift with an adult.
It is always a smart idea to use the safety bar!

2-day or 3-day Flight Plans (2 or 3 days of First Timer packages)

Two or Three First Timer Packages for ages 11 and up
Enjoy the ultimate learning experience. Includes 2 or 3 consecutive days of lessons, rental equipment and lift tickets (Ponderosa and Galena lifts) each day. Wait in line only once and enjoy care-free days on the slopes.**

·** 1st day is a First Timer class (above) at 10am or 1pm. Days 2 and 3 are Novice classes available during normal unless otherwise specified by instructor. Sorry, no refunds for not participating in second or third day, Flight Plan is non-transferable. FREE overnight storage for rental skis/snowboards available.

Package Includes:

All Day Beginner lift ticket (access to Ponderosa, Galena, & the Flying Jenny lifts)

All Day rental equipment (ski or snowboard; equipment may be used all day)

Get here early! It is strongly recommended to arrive by 9:00 for the 10:00 lesson even if you have purchased online.

The Mt. Rose Ski & Snowboard School is located on the lower level of the Main Lodge. You can purchase your package and be fitted with your rental equipment all in one stop or buy it online.
